Tribal Wars

Tribal Wars is a fun online internet game. When you sign up for your Tribal Wars file, you are given a small village. You have buildings in your village that give you resources, troops and food for you troops. If you can't supply your troops with food then you can't get anymore troops until you upgrade your farm. The most important building is the village headquarters. In the village headquarters you upgrade all your other village buildings, like the barracks. In the barracks you can get troops that you use to attack other villages. Other villages can attack you as well so your troops can also defend your village.

In Tribal Wars there are tribes. Tribes are like a big group of people that help each other. To get players into your tribe you have to send them an invitation to your tribe. There are different privileges you can have in a tribe. Barons, are the second highest rank. The very highest rank is duke. Dukes can do anything in the tribe. There is also a forum in the tribe so that the tribe can talk about important stuff. There is a player maximum in the tribe as well. It is 100 players. After you have 100 players then you can't get anymore players.

In Tribal Wars if you want more than 1 village you have to get a nobleman. Noblemen cost lots of resources. Each village has a loyalty level. It is almost always at 100. But when a nobleman comes they lower it. Once the loyalty level gets to 0 then the village belongs to the player that used the noblemen. When the village is taken then the noblemen goes into the village. If you want another village after that then you will have to get another nobleman.

Tribal Wars is a really fun game. It has lots of neat things to do on it, like get your village to a higher level, and lots more!

Shaun Alexander cracked his foot in a playoff game were they lost to Chicago. After the game they took some X-rays. The coach explained that docters had told him that Alexanders foot may always have a crack on his foot. Matt Hasselback is a quarder back who is recovering from an offseason surgery to his non throwing sholder. The Seahawks limited Hasselback to individual position drills and 7-on-7 work. It was a great camp for him. He flet better throwing the ball after that. He slowly particapated in more practices. Hasselback wants to increase his throwing power he also wants to do more agility and quickness drills to go along with the strength training.

Football
Football is fun to play. in football you throw a ball at a receiver who tries to catch the ball then run with the ball to get a touchdown. if you are the quarter back you can also give the ball to a half back that runs with the ball and tries to get a touchdown also. the quarter back is the leader of the team and calls all the plays.

The defence tries to keep the offence from getting a touch down. if the defence stops them from getting ten yards it is time four there offence to try and get a touch down. there is four quarters in a game that are five minutes each. but the games last much longer when the plays stop and after the end of each quarter.

Myth Busters

Myth Busters is a TV show that has some people that bust myths. There are lots of characters in Myth Busters. There is Grant, Tory, Jamie and Adam. Grant is a computer expert. Adam and Jamie are the people who make the show. Tory is one of the people in the show and Kari is another of the people who work for Myth busters. Its very exciting watching the Myth Busters bust myths.

Some of the myths that the
Myth Busters have busted are the newspaper cross bow and the helium football. The helium football myth was busted; a helium football did not go as high as a normal football. The newspaper cross bow myth was about whether a person in a jail could make a cross bow out of supplies they had, like a dish, a spoon, some newspaper, etc. that was capable of killing someone. The newspaper crossbow myth was plausable but not that likely that it could kill someone. It would be fun if they had more cool myth like those ones.

Science At Home Today

I bought some Diet Coke and some Fruit Mento's and dropped a Mento in with the Diet Coke. There was a little bit of fizz that went out of the bottle but not much. I got the idea from the YouTube Video.

Next, I added baking soda and some vinegar into some Diet Coke to see what it would do. The baking soda floated to the bottom, while the vinegar made the Coke bubble up. After I stirred the baking soda from the bottom, it fizzed up, too. I learned from these experiments that there are some things that can fizz up in Diet Coke besides Mentos.

Next, I tried to see what would dissolve faster in Diet Coke: a dog treat or a cherry tomato. I'm still waiting for the results but I'll check on the experiment in 24 hours from when I started the experiment. I'll record which ones had dissolved more.

The Salmon Kings Game

On Saturday, Dec. 9th, 2006, I went to a Victoria Salmon Kings hockey game at the Save On Foods Memorial Arena. My dad, me, and my brothers (Michael and Matthew) got to sit in a suite to watch the game, and it had regular flip down seats, as well as couches and free popcorn, hot dogs, and pop. It had it's own bathroom too, so we didn't have to go that far to use it. It was fun to watch the game from those seats because our suite was in the centre of the rink, about 18 rows back. There was a Teddy Bear Toss when the Salmon Kings scored their first goal of the game. People would throw Teddy Bears on the ice and that was kind of annoying because it took a long time for them to clear the Teddy's off the ice so the game could go on.

The people we sat with were lawyers who had bought the suite for the season. Mr. Mulligan and Mr. Tam were very kind to us because they let us use their suite and helped up get popcorn sometimes. The have a law firm named, Mulligan Tam Pearson. They gave someone at the Law School these tickets for this game, and my dad, who works at the Law School, got them. It was nice that we could go into the suite to watch the game because we could walk around in the suite, and because we could see better with no people in front of us to block us.

The score was 3-2 for the Salmon Kings. I was glad that they won because I like the Salmon Kings a lot. It was the most fun hockey game in my life!!!

The True Meaning of Christmas

Saint Nicolas was Santa Claus at first but after he died he became Santa claws because he gave stuff to others. Some people who aren't Christians take out the Christ out of the word "Christmas" and put in x instead leaving us with "X-Mas". Some people think Christmas is just a holiday were you give people presents and get some presents too. Other people think it is when Christ was born.
